How the 948 Series printers work
The Keltron 948 Series printers use factory pre-programmed (field programmability option available) messages for each alarm input. This printer provides an accurate account of when an alarm occurred and how long it lasted. Each alarm input can also be pre-programmed to sound an external Sonalert upon detection of an alarm condition and/or activate one of five annunciator outputs. The 948 series can be easily interfaced to most alarm panels that supply dry contact closure, voltage level or RS232C outputs.
948 Series features
The 948 series printers have performance features that are common to units three times their size and cost. These include a 32-word programmable message plus an exclusive alarm summary function that permits a review of all zones in Alarm or Trouble conditions at a glance. Of vital importance, the printer receives simultaneous signals from multiple zones without input loss.
