At both the event-monitoring site and on the protected premises, Keltron's DMP703/704 systems provide a full range of hardware and software components. Modular design and inclusive software options enable universal integration with a wide range of transmission methods and devices.
Within the central processor
At the heart of the system is a powerful, field-programmable computer that processes event inputs. The system leverages dedicated function boards to facilitate easy integration with new or old, multi-manufacturer's systems to produce a single, easy-to-use operations center. The boards enable a range of functionality including:
Direct connects: polarity reversal; multi-level end-of-line resistors and the Keltron-exclusive Tones devices that insure reliable transmission of all alarms over voice-grade telephone circuits including paths that include fiber optics.
Modems: interface to other Keltron systems via telephone lines
Radio alarms: received from any alarm panel
Digital communicators: receives signals via any industry standard format
Modular function boards
The systems' computers contain slots for multiple function boards, DMP703 - 13, DMP704 - 9 that enable the systems to be configured using any flexible and modifiable combination of input, output and function boards.
Radio receiver interface integrates with active radio network
Digital communicator interface boards communicate with remote digital dialers/transmitters
Serial distributed multiplex interfaces enable bi-directional communication via partyline event transceivers (PETs) with NFPA 72 style 7 SLC performance
Subscriber nest interface boards receive inputs from direct connect nests for up to 20,000 zones
Coded alarm processor boards decode 96 channels of McCulloh loop inputs or electronically coded fire alarm signals from FACPs
Database memory boards deliver 256K bytes capacity per board
Serial input/output boards interface using RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485
Relay outputs include 96 standard (16/card) expandable
Open collector outputs include 288 standard (48/card) expandable
Coded alarm outputs provide manual/automatic transmission of coded alarm signals
Multi-systems monitoring manages multiple remote systems at a single location
