Welcome
Welcome to Keltron Corporation's Outputs, a regular e-mail communication of Keltron's new product insights, news and events.

Keltron in the News
Keltron has long been an advocate of integrated systems. Our solutions offer the major advantage of being universally compatible – able to monitor multiple buildings with different fire alarm control panels that receive different types of signals. This month's Security Systems News reports on how fire and security companies see the increasing trend toward cooperation and standardization in life safety systems integration.

Product Spotlight:
System Integration with Distributed Multiplex
One technology at which Keltron excels is integrating legacy systems or older disparate technologies with new technologies such as addressable, analog, point specific, fire alarm systems. Legacy systems seldom support true integration using data, but may support an interface using relays.

Keltron can monitor many different types of signals and systems using our distributed multiplex solutions. We can monitor most fire alarm control panels and solve integration issues at remote locations or tie together systems using addressable relay outputs.

Keltron's PET494, an addressable relay output device, may reside on a distributed multiplex signaling circuit intermingled with PETs that monitor FACPs using serial data or hard-wired outputs. Software enables activation delays and specific activation periods to integrate with other systems such as warning signals or smoke control.
